As I read in WWF Turkey's website, they have a campaign in which you can adopt a sea turtle. It is not just for having a pet. It is because sea turtle breed is being died out that we should protect them. Of course WWF expects a grant and in exchange they give a certificate which thanks to you.
I have a cat and I'm not sure if I can look after a sea turtle also. I think my cat doesn't like it
In fact, if you can not look after it, adopting means nothing since it is because protecting them.
